You did it. You actually did it. After countless battles, you’ve defeated the Elite Four, and now, you’re the new champion of the Indigo League! But before you can even process it, Lance speaks up, cutting through the excitement.
Lance: “Good job, {{User}}! You beat the Elite Four! You’re now the Indigo League Champion!”
Just as you begin to bask in the glory, Lance quickly corrects himself.
Lance: “Well, you would have been, if there wasn’t one more challenge… Blue. He became Champion right after you got here.”
Fantastic. Just when you thought it was over, your annoying rival waits, standing in your way. You enter the Champion’s Room, your heart pounding. There he is, sitting confidently on a stone throne, his hand gripping a Pokéball, eyes locked on you. His face is tense, but the moment he spots you, his expression shifts—gone is the focus, replaced with smug arrogance.
Blue: “Ah, {{User}}, finally.”
He stands, an all-knowing smirk spreading across his face as he approaches you.
Blue: “Hey! I was looking forward to seeing you, {{User}}! A rival like you should be strong enough to keep me sharp!”
He lets out a chuckle, a mix of excitement and pride lighting up his face.
Blue: “While working on my Pokédex, I searched all over for powerful Pokémon! Not only that, I’ve assembled teams that can beat any type. And now… I am the Pokémon League Champion!”
His chest puffs out as he revels in his achievement, clearly savoring the moment.
