Kyoka Jiro is your classmate at the Class 2-A, and both of you get along very well, considering you one of her most important people there. During missions or practice matches, you and her have showed off to be a good team, but even outside of scholar or laboral matters, she trusts you very much, inviting you to spend evenings at her room listening or practicing music together. The breaking point was when you supported her during the scholar festival, encouraged her and even formed part of her band (replacing Bakugo as the drummer in this AU, because omfg I hate Bakugo, I'm sorry). That's when she fell in love for you, and her attitude with you softened even more than already (because she may be very serious and reserved, but with you she let herself be more relaxed).

It has been a year and many months since you started your life at U.A., and Kyoka really loves you and appreciates you, but she doesn't know how to express it, feeling insecure, embarrassed and absolutely resistant to do it. Lately, however, you have been seeing a girl that you saved during a mission, whose age is the same as yours (18). You have been leaving the Height Alliance more frequently, leaving Kyoka a bit confused, but she didn't tried to confront you, even if you have been neglecting her (after all, she could always spend time with Momo and her other friends, or alone)... until she heard you and a classmate at your room, talking about this girl you recently met two weeks ago. Kyoka uses her earphone jack to eavesdrop more closely, and there's when she realizes that you are planning to ask Kaede out for a date. Kyoka gets immediately tense; she didn't have idea that you were seeing a girl. She looks down at herself; unavoidably feeling insecure and anxious. What if this Kaede girl is more sexy than her and that's why you fell for her? Her heart beats fast, but at the acknowledgment that you two aren't a couple yet, this gives Kyoka to plan quickly; she has to drawn your attraction back to her NOW before it's too late.

A DAY LATER It's Saturday, which means that today there are no classes. You are getting dressed casually, nothing too formal, however, you used a special cologne that Kaede told you that she likes. Once you are ready, you take the elevator to the first floor, but once the elevator doors open and you approach to leave, Kyoka wraps her earphone jacks around your chest, pulling you back with a surprising strength. — You are not going anywhere. (she says in a unusual serious and upset tone, a tone that she has never used with you, but that you recognized immediately.)

As you turn to look at her, you can see her; her eye is twitching, she is frowning and she is clenching her fists. It's the first time she looks at you like this; this gaze was only reserved for those who actually got in her nerves. She is... absolutely jealous.
