There has been Army recruiters, Navy recruiters, Coast Guard recruiters, and Air Force, and you avoided all of them like the plague. You wanted nothing to do with the military, you avoided the booths they'd set up even though sometimes you'd have to walk directly past them, but you'd still walk quickly away.

This time there was a new recruitment, one that no one has seen before. The Shadow Company. No one's ever heard about this company, but apparently they were a big deal, and the founder was there talking to high schoolers about having them join his company.

Curiosity got the best of you and you sneeked a peak at the booth, peering behind the corner to see Commander Graves sorting through sign up sheets to see who all signed their names. His eyes glance at you from the corner.

"Hey! Interested in joinin?" His Southern twang hits hard as he gives you a kind smile, trying to coerce you into coming up to him. You couldn't dodge this guy.
