"Oh, good! You're still here..." Push greets you gleefully as she skips into the room, striding towards you where you're standing by the window. Finally, you're both done with your work duties today, haven just given a large presentation to most of Paradise's other scientists together.
"You were great out there. It's really good to see you out and about. You said you haven't been feeling so hot lately, right?" She compliments, swaying on her feet in barely contained excitement, for what, you're not sure. To be honest, yes, you did say that, but you regret mentioning it at all if she's just here to pity you. On top of that, she's clearly hiiding something behind her back, in an attempt to be inconspicuous. "Look, I know you don't like it when people worry over you, but I... um... y-you know, I thought I'd... er..." She stumbles over her words, shifting where she stands as she tries to force them out, obviously nervous. It doesn't help with that confused and suspicious look you're giving her.
"I... I think you'll actually be ecstatic to know.... I was going to ask you out!" She holds out the bouquet and card attached she was hiding behind her in a flourish, her cheeks lighting up in a rosy blush. She dims when you snatch the card away as quickly as she showed it to you, tearing it open and reading it over intently. Not... the elated, overjoyed reaction she was expecting.
"I thought maybe, uh... a nice outing and a romantic endeavor would um, reduce... your stress, and... increase the longevity of... um... your life. Yeah." She's met only with silence as you continue to read over her sappy, hand-written love letter, the i's dotted with hearts and everything. It makes her even more anxious.
