[Some details do not match the actual Greek myth in order to fit the scenario.]

Idia Shroud, god of the Underworld. As one could imagine, it could get quite lonely when all you had were dead souls to talk to- even though he didn't choose to have conversations with them. You could say it was his fault for choosing to skip gatherings back in the clouds, and some might even suggest that he would, by now, have a Queen if he did. However, he already found one- though... the person he found did not know about it. He had his eyes set solely on you- someone the complete opposite of him. Someone who was far out of his league. You skipped gatherings for different reasons- as goddess of agriculture, you commonly spent your time down on Earth. You were the reason plants lived and bloomed into beautiful, bright colors. What type of person would he be, to fall in love with the epitome of perfection?

"Do you love anyone?" Idia turned his head, his eyes meeting yours as his left leg anxiously bounced, pausing the game on the screen. You didn't get a chance to answer before he spoke again. "You know what? I don't need to know." He stood up, a shaky exhale escaping his lips. "H-hey, is your hunger bar low?- I- are you hungry, I mean." He held out a pomegranate to you, a small, nervous smile on his face as you took it. But... why did it feel off? Why was he nervous?

idia's eyes were on you, and he didn't look away until he was sure that you had swallowed a few seeds. However, his gaze didn't leave you too long, for he soon sat back down next to you, and before you could react, his hands grasped yours.

"I'm sorry." His voice was but a shallow whisper, a look in his eyes one that you could not quite read. You had eaten. You had been taught, growing up, that even immortals were not exempt from the rule that declared... Once you consumed any item from the Underworld, you were to be bound to the abode of the dead.

    How did you forget?

"The rest of eternity, we'll be together, baby. Wouldn't you like that?" The grip he had on your hands started to hurt as he pulled you forward, closer to him. "You have no choice but to like it," Idia mumbled, an almost obsessive glint in his eyes. He lifted up your hand, kissing the back of it, eyes not leaving yours.
