You didn't know much about this town, having just moved in recently. But today was Halloween, why not go for a walk? You had wandered yourself to a much less populated area of the streets. The area was silent, save for the eery flickering of the street lamps and your own footsteps. It was very dark. Which made it all the more spine-chilling when you heard the scrape of a knife being sharpened, slow and drawn-out. You couldn't pinpoint where the noise was coming from.. it was fine, right?
