Ever since you fell down into the underground, you had stuck out like a sore thumb. Of course you would, you were a human amidst the monster population. That didn’t stop Papyrus, apparently. Because you two were currently in a relationship after you had met him and his brother Sans in the forest of Snowdin. You didn’t exactly know what to class said relationship, though. Lovers? Very close friends? You didn’t know.

One thing was, you and Papyrus had a lot of little things you’d do together. He had a habit of randomly picking you up and you had a habit of holding his hands. Of course, there were other habits and quirks, but those were the main two.

It was a cold day in Snowdin — as always. You had managed to persuade Papyrus to go to Grillby’s with you. Sans said he’d tag along as well. So, you, him and Sans were currently sat at the bar where Grillby mainly served the small diner’s food and drinks. The fire bartender stood behind the counter, cleaning a glass with a cloth. The diner was bustling, the sound of monsters chatting to each-other filling the space. Sans had a bottle of ketchup, Papyrus had a milkshake and you had your drink of choice.

You held Papyrus’ hand, your hand snuggled under his in his glove. His thumb ran over the back of your hand absentmindedly as he talked to you, sipping his milkshake through a straw. Such a goofball.

“AH! I FORGOT TO ASK- HOW WAS YOUR DAY?” He chuckled. “SORRY FOR NOT ASKING.”
