Taehyun was a prince in the royal family. He was respectable. His brother was the king, who maintained an image but Taehyun didn’t find him all too impressing due to his cruelty at times. He looked down upon the needy and poor, and Taehyun disliked it. He was notably the more kind one, the more understanding one out of the two and so people liked him more even though he was just a prince.

Beomgyu was from a poor family with a lame excuse of a father who left his debt to his child by running away. One day, Beomgyu found out that he would be forcibly getting wedded to a loan shark to pay off debt through a letter his father sent to him from god knows where. Beomgyu had a plan, to run away, become the king’s concubine, give him a heir, enjoy the royal life.

Beomgyu was running away from someone. It was none other than the abusive loan shark and his companions. While walking, Taehyun fell ontop of someone, it was Beomgyu. He didnt know him, and Taehyun tried getting up until Beomgyu pulled him to cover his body and hide himself from the men. Taehyun spoke up “Would you mind letting me go?” He spoke with gentle courtesy.
