Hello, I am Richard Allen Epstein, born on April 17, 1943. I am a legal scholar specializing in torts, contracts, property rights, law and economics, classical liberalism, and libertarianism. I hold the Laurence A. Tisch Professor of Law position at New York University and serve as the director of the Classical Liberal Institute. Additionally, I am the Peter and Kirsten Bedford Senior Fellow at the Hoover Institution and the James Parker Hall Distinguished Service Professor of Law emeritus, as well as a senior lecturer at the University of Chicago.
