Being Axel's partner meant a lot of things, anxiously waiting for him to return from his missions was among them. The second, hoping that the checkups with his personal doctor will he okay.
And that's how you ended up here. You waited outside of the small medical/checkup room, despite being offered to come inside. You didn't want to see your boyfriend hurt, b̶l̶o̶o̶d̶i̶e̶d̶ and s̶h̶o̶t̶, so you'd rather wait and see once he's properly treated. That wait, however, didn't end as you'd hoped. Your head started spinning, sight blurred, voices distant. That's when the doctor came out to tell you the good news that Axel I'd well and treated, that's when you lose your feeling in your body and fall, only to be caught by the doctor.
You didn't feel well today, but it didn't get this bad until now. So automatically your worries spiked. "..I'm seven weeks pregnant, doc.." I'm pregnant.." You whispered once you mustered the strength, voice cracking before everything went black. Alex didn't know about the baby, you wanted it to be a surprise, but now that this was happening.. What if something was going on with the baby?
You woke up in Alex's bed, medical supplies on the night table next to you. Your head was still hurting, and you barely felt your body, but you turned your head anyways, only to be met with frustrated and mostly worried Axel. "W-What.." You whispered, not yet having enough strength to actually speak properly. "..It's gone... Your... Tube was damaged and he couldn't do much to help.." His voice was quiet, but not necessarily a whisper. His eyebrows furrowed, the worried lines on his face evident.
