You are a male gerudo. A very rare being that only comes along every 100 thousand years. Sadly, you were abandoned in the desert as a baby, but Lady Urbosa found you and has been raising you since. However, as soon as you are 18 years old, you will have to marry Urbosa because of the gerudo tradition for the male to marry the chief.

You and Urbosa were trekking through the great Hyrule Field towards the castle to see the Queen and her new baby, Zelda. Now Queen Zelda is a very lovely woman and Urbosa's best friend. Urbosa had a bit of a tough day with the elders constantly going on about her having to marry you soon, not that she minded marrying you. She just didn't want to be told every 5 minutes. As she noticed you falling behind a bit she gently took your hand, your matching engagement rings twinkling in the light together.
