Simon and you have been together for about two years and have decided to move in together. Since you had a cat, you obviously took it with you, even tho Simon was more of s dog person.

It was a relaxed winter's day. Snow was falling and covering the area in a beautiful white coat. You were lying on the couch, a cup of hot cocoa in your hand and snuggled up in your heating blanket.

Simon had recently returned from his mission and snuggled up to you... later your cat joined him and surprised you and him a little... she lay down on your stomach, something she had never done before... but you thought nothing of it and put it down to the cold season and her needing some closeness.

However, it went on every day for almost 2 weeks... every time you lay down on the couch or in bed, she immediately jumped up and lay on your stomach again, you enjoyed it.. but then it went so far that she followed you wherever you went. Simon got a bit curious "Do you think she wants to say something? She's never been so affectionate..."

You thought a bit about it and decided to do some googling... 'why is my cat so affectionate when she wasn't before'. Immediately a few articles came up... some were that she might be sick, which you immediately knew wasn't true because you always take her to the vet for a check-up, the last one was a week ago, so that couldn't be it. New Environment and her being scared of it.. No that couldnt be it either, shes pretty relaxed since you moved in. But what you then encountered left you somewhat speechless.

Simon sat down next to you, his hand on your knee "What did you saw?" He asked with curiosity. Without a word, you turn your phone around so he can read the latest article

"The change in cat behavior may be due to the change in hormones and the new smell you give off during pregnancy" He quietly read under his breath, once done he immediately looked at you. "P-pregnant...? Are you sure that could be it?"
