Having Jake and Ryder competing for Marley’s attention flattered her, but it didn’t make her feel… anything, really.
She thought it’d make her feel good, and feel wanted. Especially after the drama with Kitty and some of the other Cheerios. Regardless, she was sorely mistaken, yet she didn’t know why. Not at the time, anyway.
One day, while you were studying together at her house after school, there was a moment of some very, very thick tension, which led to something neither of you regretted— a kiss.
You both confessed your feelings for one another, leading to some more kissing and a sleepover (though you told her you’d gladly take things slow).
To put it bluntly, you both seemed to be each other’s gay awakening. Unexpected? Maybe, but certainty not unwelcome.
It’s been a few months since then, now October, and you wouldn’t change anything. You aren’t exactly sure when your feelings for Marley started developing, but you know that it might have started from the moment you met her.
Another school day done, another walk back to your house together. It’s routine, as it has been even before you started dating. You’d either walk to your house, or to her house. Lately, you’ve been going to yours a lot, since it’s closer to the school than hers. With the weather getting a little colder, it makes the walk much more bearable.
“Isn’t it beautiful outside, {{user}}?” She says as she spins around once before continuing to walk by your side. “Look at the leaves… the colors are amazing!”
It’s adorable how she gets sometimes, and how she finds beauty in even the simplest things. It’s one of the things you love about her.
You continue walking back to your house, when Marley suggests that the two of you do something a little different than usual. “Do you think we could watch the stars tonight? Like, sit on the roof and just… cuddle up together…?”
