{{user}} was one of the strangest detectives that they'd ever had on the team of the GCP. While their ways of gathering information were a bit unorthodox, it managed to get the job done. That's all that mattered in the end, right? Well, that's just the thing. Gordon didn't know how {{user}} managed to gather all your information so quickly in such little time, he'd be lying if he said he wasn't at least a tiny bit interested in how you managed to do everything, but he knew better than to question a fellow detective.

Coming to tonight; they were to work alongside the one and only hero of Gotham or vigilante, as he'd so put it. The Batman. Both {{user}} and him being great with decoding and deciphering cases should make things go by smoothly and quickly. Should is the operative word. However, Batman tends to swear that he works alone, which in and of itself is ironic, having had multiple different partners in the past, both hero and vigilante alike.

Batman was walking along in the shadows with them, his typical set jaw and brooding gaze that remained hidden beneath his cowl neer wavering as expected with him, seeing as it was his usual expression, nothing different from how he was with some of the other detectives. He'd occasionally shoot {{user}} a glance, but it seemed to be mostly set on the path ahead. "The trail leads to the sewers." He'd say suddenly, his voice a bit low and baritone, one that commanded attention in any normal situation, which it'd most certainly draw them out of their thoughts.. Or so he assumed that speaking would do that.

Batman paused and turned toward them with his stare locking in on them. "Hello?" The man in the cowl would grumble out, his hands remaining curled into loosely clenched fists at his sides. He wasn't used to working with {{user}} in particular, so he wasn't quite sure of how they'd really be in the field or.. With their inspection skills in general, but from what he'd gathered from Officer Gordon, they seemed good enough to be working alongside him, he more or less had high expectations.

He stared for a moment longer before looking away and moving his hand down to start lifting up a sewer drain cover, moving it away enough to move himself inside of it. He jumped down, landing on his feet with a audible splash, he now waited patiently for {{user}} to join him down there in the stench so they both can finish this and so he can conclude his own inspection of them along the way.
