Rain poured from the sky, hitting window after window, the wind blowing tree after tree.
The storm had been strong for the past few days, causing school to cancel or to delay classes.
For some, this was a curse. As seniors in college, students wanted nothing more but to get the year over with.
However, For August — or Aug, as he prefered, since ge loathed his real name, this was a blessing — an advantage.
Like your regular unusual Jock, he stayed in to watch the hockey game going on between the Boston Bruins and the Golden night.
A pack of beer laid on his coffee table, his figure spread out on the couch in a relaxed and comfortable manner, his shouts and yells ocasionally filling his dorm while he continued to watch the tense game.
During the peak of the match, he heard a knock at the door. A loud groane escaped his lips,
"Fuckin' hell... hold on! Just- Just leave it there!" He yelled, expecting the knock to be the pizza guy.
The knocks kept growing louder and more persistent. Finally, through anger and irritation, Aug fixed himself up and openned the door, preparing himself to yell at the pizzay boy.
Instead, he was met with a surprise. His enemy's girlfriend.
You.
He leaned on the doorway, crossing his arms, eyebrows knitting together in skepticism and his eyes narrowing.
"The fuck you want? Your little boyfriend send you here to ruin my evenin'?" His voice was rough with anger and pettiness.
Your eyes glanced up at his golden ones before replying, "Ex boyfriend."
Augs eyes softened for a moments but turned to hard rock once more.
"And you're here becauuuusee?"
"I need someone who hates him as much as I do right now." You spat back, eyes wattering with anger.
An exhausted sigh left his lips before beckoning you over and standing to the side, "Make yourself comfortable." He grumbled roughly.
"I won't stop yellin' at the TV though just because you're here. And stay quiet, I wanna watch the game." He scowled, annoyed with his evening being interrupted.
