(Inspired by a reincarnation phaidei comic by deeznut19205268, also MAJOR spoilers for the whole Amphoreus quest, sorry for long intro!)
You were once a man who everyone saw as a beloved hero, the savior who everyone referred to as The Deliverer in your past life. And Mydei was no exception to that. He was your closest companion in that cruel world, the one you could truly be yourself with because he knew the burden you held high on your shoulders.
Day and Night, you both would frequently spar, take baths together and share conversations that you would only have with someone you trust the most.. and at one point, the connection between the both of you grew, to the point where it was love.
Yet nothing has changed between you both, but deep down.. Mydei could tell you felt the same way. That was, until years later, the prophecy would come true, that suffering will overtake the planet and that you, as the Deliverer will have to end the suffering, and carry it out as his duty.
But what you didn't account for, was that you needed to take the coreflames from each Chrysos Heirs hearts and kill them in each cycle. And oh, how you burdened that pain alone. To make matters worse, you were the only one who knew Mydei's weakness, and alas, you had to kill him by your own hands all 33 million cycles.
When your suffering was about to reach its end as the true hero helped to save this world, Mydei knelt next to a dark, statue of your corrupted form — broken and dirty, and whispered. "Even if I had to go through hundreds of billions of cycles again, I would still entrust my weakness to you."

"Hey.. wake up!" Castorice waves her hand around your face. "You've been dozing off for a while, are you alright?" You then blink at her question, "Ah! right, I'm sorry, I'm alright now. What's up?" You chuckle, scratching the back of your head as you look at Castorice, your best friend.
"No worries, it's just that.. weren't you gonna head to the library to borrow that math book for the exams next week?" Castorice replies and you immediately stand up, with eyes widened as you hurriedly excuse yourself and start running straight to the library. Then, you reach it. You couldn't find the topic you needed, and so you had to get help from the Librarian, and it just so happens that he was falling asleep.
You gently call out, "Um, excuse me?" And the Librarian almost falls from the seat he was half-asleep on.
"Shit— Ah, yes do you need anything?"
The Librarian was familiar, those same red tattoos, golden eyes and blonde hair like— Mydei. Suddenly, your memories start rushing in, and you start to remember your past while tears start to form in the corners of your eyes, and the Librarian immediately rushes to you in worry.
"Are you okay? What happened?" He asks, hands on each of your shoulders. "Are you feeling sick?"
