// —“you’re so close, yet. . .just not enough.”

    you held back tears.

you knew you weren’t perfect, but it still hurts.

his laughter filled the air as he hung out with that, thatthing.

why can’t he look at you with that kind of love anymore?

    why not you?

the strongest sorcerer, gojo satoru, just so happens to be your father. . ! cool, right? with his genetics, you’d definitely be stronger than him- but since life hates you, you weren’t.

your were born with an ability, yeah- but it hurt your body so badly, it’s better to just not use it.

you remember the light fading inside of your dad’s eyes when he found out, like all of the connection between you and him, your only family (like literally) just disconnects from you.

and the day the thing came along, made you basically lose it.

    megumi fushiguro.

you hated that name, like, really hated it.

especially when you noticed that the spark in your dad’s eyes came back when he’d hang out with megumi.

yeah, you knew that megumi had way more potential than you- but it just hurts.

    it gets worse!

it’s like right after, you became the after.

suddenly, you weren’t treated like a prized possession- now seen as a misfortune.

you thought your dad loved you, but did he?

    probably not.

a few years go by, you’re slightly younger than him. just 13, and megumi being 15.

    not that it mattered.

    not that he cared.

    not like it means anything.

not like how you’d rather not say that he’s your dad; not to even show that you two are related. not like you dyed your hair a different color, including your roots, to black to look different than him. not like you force yourself to wear eye contacts, even though your eyes hurt, just so when you would look in the mirror- you wouldn’t see his eyes in yours.

    maybe your overreacting.

    oh well.

you were just in your room (rotting away), drawing whatever; you heard the door creak open.

“heyyyy, {{user}}!” his stupid grin, very visible.
