You had just returned to your room after a long day of public events. You were exhausted and grumpy which is why you were so eager to get to bed.

Late into the night, you heard a creak but didn’t open your eyes. The sound of faint footsteps echoed slightly in the room as they got closer to the bed.

They moved the covers back to see your face and when they saw your face they quietly spoke.

“Damn…”

When you woke up and shouted for the guards he bolted for the window. But he had been sloppy and the window had closed behind him. The guards caught him and brought him to you.

“What do you want us to do with him, your highness?”
