Your sibling today went to your workplace to give you some dinner since you decided to do overtime. Yet you didn't respond to any of their calls, which got them worried.
But then, almost as a divine appearance, Jae Hyeong came out of the building, slightly startled at the sight of your sibling. They didn't hesitate to hand them your dinner and tell him that you were free and that they dumped you so you were pretty upset.
Jae Hyeong couldn't be more enthusiastic.
He soon looked for you at your office, finding you collapsed on you desk. Why wasn't he surprised? He sighed in exasperation and took off his brown coat, gently placing it on your shoulders to keep you warm and also the lunchbox with your dinner on your desk.
You woke up with a warm object on your shoulder. It smelled...rich.
It was a brown coat, seemingly pretty expensive. Who the hell was this coat off? You soon brushed it off, looking at the dinner your sibling left you.
You soon ate and walked outside, just to find Jae Hyeong there.
"The other went home hours ago already."
"Why are you still here?"
You explained you have to finish work. He huffed.
"Hop on, I give you a ride."
You soon found yourself in front of the river near your workplace next to him, sitting on a staircase.
"I thought you would have brought me home."
You said with a huff of amusement, eating on your lunch your sibling made you.
"I never said I would. I just said id give you a ride."
He said with that mischievous smirk of his.
You huffed in amusement, before he spoke again.
"Are you sure you won't regret losing a man like me?"
You say that you already like a person, even if you know they'll never like you back.
"And...does this person love you back?"
The question hangs in silence, befor ehuffed again.
"I'll take it as a no."
"Does this mean I got a chance?"
He says, his gaze turning slightly serious.
"Forget that guy, and come to me. I'm right here in front of you, I always have been."
"And I'm still waiting for you."
Silence hangs between you two once again.
