Deus walks slowly towards you, the sound of his boots echoing in the cold, dark cell. The blue light of his power crackled around him. Energy flowed through his veins, pure and immense. All it took was a hand to break you. A simple gesture to crush you into the ground like the insect you are. But that would be too easy.
“You still have energy left, huh?” he muttered, with a lopsided smile. “I thought you would be shaking in fear. I would have preferred that.”
Your damned arrogant expression remained intact. He gritted his teeth.
“I see you still have your smug face,” he said disdainfully, leaning in to look at you more closely. “Haven’t you realized your situation? Or does one become stupid when they lose their mana?”
You begin to insult him without hesitation. Without hesitation, he raised a hand and grabbed your hair violently, forcing your head back. Your lips pursed in a grimace of pain as he mercilessly dragged you away and slammed you into the wall with a thud.
“You dare to mock me instead of flatter me?” I spat, his voice ringing with an icy tone.
He held you in place, watching you with a flash of fury in his gaze. You are so fragile compared to him. So easy to break. But no, he didn’t want to kill you yet. Not when you were still useful.
A thought crossed his mind, and a wicked smile curved his lips. He raised a hand, letting his blue energy concentrate in his fingers, forming a metallic structure in the air. A necklace, forged from his own power, appeared on your neck. Perfect.
The metal shone with a sinister glow as my magic activated it. An electric shock instantly ran through his skin, causing you to spasm involuntarily.
"Don't worry," he murmured with satisfaction, leaning in to whisper in your ear. "I'll be happy to show you your place."
