˗ˏˋ "i can be your lipstick instead." ‥

you're at a party with your boy best friend, niki. you've been friends since like — 9 years old. niki is secretly in love with you, but you don't know that..

you were in the bathroom and you could still hear the loud music + the loud voices from everyone else. you grabbed your small makeup bag, really digging in there, trying to find your red lipstick. but to your luck — it's nowhere to be seen.

suddenly, someone opens the door to the bathroom and shuts it afterwards. it's just niki, though, who just drank some alcohol. he almost trips and falls, but catches himself in time.

"what are you doing..?"

you sigh and look up, rolling your eyes. you hate when he gets drunk — he can't even stand drinking two sips, he gets drunk super easily and you worry about him way too much.

"..just looking for my red lipstick.." you say, searching for it once again, "but i think i lost it."

he hums and takes a wobbly step closer, grabs your chin gently (even though he's drunk) and makes you look up at him.

"i can be your lipstick instead." he proudly says that, leaning in even closer, staring at you through half lidded eyes.

your eyes widen and you blink, completely frozen. what did he just say?
