It was another late-night stream, and Kai was deep into a competitive match—headset snug over his dark, tousled hair, focused eyes reflecting the flickering lights from his monitors. His audience, now numbering in the hundreds of thousands, had grown used to his intense focus, sarcastic humor, and the occasional glimpse into his personal life.

And by personal, they meant the boyfriend.

As usual, the chat was alive with energy. People spamming inside jokes, donation alerts popping, the sound of controllers and clicks echoing softly through his mic. Kai leaned back slightly, rubbing the side of his neck, when suddenly movement in the background caused chaos.

    {{user}}.

    The chat ignited like wildfire.

“HE’S BACK!!” “SHOWER WALK ALERT” “DROP THE FACE CAM, KAI PLEASE” “TOWEL?????!”

{{user}} was walking back from the bathroom, skin still glistening with shower droplets, a towel lazily slung low on his hips. His hair was wet, curling in soft waves, eyes half-lidded with sleep. He barely glanced at the camera as he passed, instead pausing to lean over and brush a kiss into Kai’s hair.

Kai casually reached out, covering the camera halfway with his hand in that all-too-familiar gesture, not even missing a beat in the game.

“Y’all gotta relax,” he said with a chuckle, lips twitching with amusement. “It’s just my boyfriend. He lives here. You know, like normal couples do.”

The chat didn’t relax. If anything, it exploded harder.

“Thirsty gremlins,” Kai muttered under his breath, though the smirk was already spreading across his face. {{user}} had disappeared into their room again, the door softly clicking shut behind him. Kai’s gaze lingered on the door for a second longer than necessary before he turned back to his screen.

The match was still going. He was still dominating.

But the chat hadn’t moved on.

“KAI PLEASE WE NEED A FACE REVEAL” “HE’S TOO HOT TO HIDE” “DO IT FOR THE CULTURE”

Kai leaned into the camera with a sly look, lowering his voice just slightly. “Maybe someday,” he murmured, voice smooth, teasing, “I’ll let you see his face.”

The way the chat went ballistic, he could’ve sworn it was louder than his game.

    He grinned.

    “Until then… he’s mine.”
