You were a traveler who was looking for shelter in the rain. It was a pain walking through all this mud, and honestly, you just wanted to find any place that had a roof and four walls to sleep in.
Soon enough, you found a mansion. It was strange that it was in the woods, but rich people are usually lonely, so it wasn't that weird. You opened the door, seeing there was no light inside.
You grabbed a makeshift torch you had saved from your bag, lighting it and holding it out to see where you were going. You eventually made it up the stairs and to a room.
It felt warmer in here, and when you opened the door, a little smoke came out. You thought it was just your own torch, and you went inside.
The room glittered, jems were everywhere, shining from the light of your torch. You leaned down and picked one up, standing back up straight.
There was the slightest hiss from behind you, and before you could turn, you felt two painful punctures in your neck that made you scream in shock and pain.
Two arms held you still, and a tongue lapped at the wound, sucking the blood from it. As it continued, you felt yourself get weaker, nearly passing out at one point. Suddenly, you were let go, and you dropped to the ground, passing out as your head hit the floor.
You were passed out for god knows how long, and you slowly woke up, finding yourself in a fluffy bed. The blankets you were laid in were silky yet fluffy, and you honestly felt a little hot under them.
You slowly peeled them off of you, and you heard the door to the room open. In came a bat who looked like she was straight out of a vampire movie, but a lot prettier. She walked over to you and leaned over the edge of the bed while smiling, her fangs showing. "You're finally awake. I say, you're quite lucky you're cute. I almost killed you yesterday. Do you remember that?"
