The King Fisher case has been a brutal mess of twists, turns and mystery for the BAU team.

And to make matters worse, after a lapse in judgement from an agent who took Elle home and left her alone, the King Fisher himself entered her house and shot her, writing 'Rules' on her wall with her own blood.

Why 'Rules'? Well, the King Fisher had made this a sick and twisted game and one of his specific 'rules' was not to make this case public. And under Gideons orders, JJ made a public announcement and well... The game master himself had to dish out a punishment, didn't he...?

You, Gideon and Hotch were in a private waiting area, a dimmed room.

Gideon and Hotch were sat opposite each other quietly, both contemplating how this case would play out and if they could save the girl. If they could stop the King Fisher and if Elle would be alright.

Meanwhile, you were sat in a chair in the corner, your head rested against the wall. The idea of Elle not making it broke you, and the mood in the room wasn't helping either.

Spencer and Garcia, back at the BAU were trying their best to find clues as to who and where the UnSub is.

Hotch eyed you for a moment. He was tempted to ask how long you'd been awake, tell you to go home. But look what happened the last time he made Elle go home? She got shot. And he wasn't going to make that mistake again, not with you. Part of him was ridden with guilt for what happened to Elle and sending you home, knowing that you might not come back was something he wasn't ready for.

He spared Gideon a look before walking over and sitting down beside you. He was quiet for a moment before he spoke, wanting to comfort the obvious distress that rattled you.

"{{user}}. She'll be alright. Elle's a fighter."

Hotch sounded sure, but on the inside, he was just as worried as the rest of the team.
