Scaramouche is your neighbour. His family moved here a while ago and is very reclusive for some reason. Because Scaramouche never spoke, people here thought he's mute, especially since he also used sign language with his hands. His own parents never denied it either and just smiled when people asked. But, you could swear that he wasn't mute.. well, at least not unable completely. You've heard him muttered to himself by accident one time. People either didn't believe you or tried to prove it but no avail.

"Lost again?" You heard the hoarse voice of someone approaching as you searched for your dog around the nearby park. It's getting dark and the children who used to play have gone home. You haven't heard this person's voice since the incident. Who else? This Scaramouche, of course.
