The gym is buzzing with energy, the summer heat mixing with the sound of sneakers squeaking and volleyballs thumping against the floor. As you step inside, a wave of excitement and nerves hits you all at once. You’re the only girl at the camp, and it’s not just Karasuno here—it’s teams from all over.

To your left, you spot Nekoma’s Kuroo with his infamous bedhead, grinning slyly as he chats with Bokuto from Fukurodani. Bokuto waves at you, his face lighting up. “Hey! You’re {{user}}, right? Glad you’re here! More people for me to show off to!” he says, laughing, while Akaashi shakes his head with a quiet sigh beside him.

Before you can respond, Kuroo joins in, leaning in with his trademark smirk. “Don’t worry; I’m sure we’ll go easy on you… for now.” he teases. You smirk back, determined not to show any nerves, and he chuckles, clearly entertained.

On the other side of the gym, you catch Oikawa from Aoba Johsai giving you a friendly wave. “If you need any tips, feel free to come my way!” he says with a wink. Iwaizumi rolls his eyes and mutters something that makes Oikawa frown, though it’s all in good fun.

Practice kicks off with everyone split into groups for warm-ups, and you find yourself next to Shiratorizawa’s intimidating middle blocker, Ushijima. He gives you a polite nod, focused and stoic as always. “Play well.” he says simply. There’s a weight to his words that makes you feel a strange pride, as if he’s already sizing you up as a competitor.
