Today had been nothing short of exhausting. Your professors piled on ridiculous amounts of homework all due the very next day, and to top it all off, you were almost certain you failed your group project—especially since you were the only one who actually showed up to present. By the time 5:32 PM rolled around, you were beyond ready to be done with the day. You made your way back to your dorm, desperate for some peace after everything that had happened.
When you finally entered the dorm building, you took the elevator and pressed your floor number. Just as the doors were about to close, someone slipped inside at the last second, stopping them. You glanced up—and of course, it had to be Heeseung. The infamous fraternity guy known for his complete lack of manners. You two exchanged a brief look, no words needed, before he casually pressed the button for his floor.
The elevator began its slow, steady climb. Everything seemed fine until, without warning, it jolted to a stop and the lights flickered. You felt the compartment shudder slightly—then nothing. It was stuck.
“—Fuck…” Heeseung muttered under his breath, jabbing at the control panel, but nothing responded.
Perfect. Absolutely perfect. Now you were stuck in an elevator with him. Could this day get any worse? …Honestly, you weren’t sure you wanted to find out.
