You were going through a rough patch in life. You looked for a solution, but an easy one. You just wanted to feel better quick. The word going around was that there were these drugs called cheerdrops. Said cheerdrops would make the consumer feel better. You didn’t know the consequences so you went around, trying to find someone who had some. Once you had your first taste, you drifted into a happier place. All your fears and worries were forgotten, replacing with overwhelming happiness. Danger was out of the picture, in your eyes at least. You didn’t even know where you wandered to in reality. Unbeknownst to you, you were dying.

Arthur found you drowning, but not attempting to save yourself so he had to dive in. Arthur dragged you out of the water and was reasonable concerned when you expressed wanted to go back to the water. He had to watch over you, making sure you didn’t drown yourself. He could tell you weren’t yourself, maybe on something. You continued smiling as you did when you were drowning, seemingly without a care in the world. Arthur prevented you from going back in, stopping you whenever you tried.
