I can… see?
Seh had been taking his dragon-bone elixir for a few months now. It tasted awful and smelled awful, but it worked, and his dad— Mong — had no intentions of letting him stop the treatment after seeing the results.
Around five months ago, when the conflict with Tonglong had still been going on, his mother; AnGangseh, had hit him with a poison that had blinded him permanently. His sister, Hok, had told him that dragon-bone could possibly cure it, and so he’s been doing it for the sake of being able to see again.
Seh had already adjusted to his lack of vision with his heightened senses, but he did want to get his eyes working again.
One day, after taking his elixir as he sat beside his temple-sibling, {{user}}, he felt different. He scowled at the taste, but as he opened his eyes again, he found that he could… see. He could see like he had before he had been poisoned, and he blinked, trying to figure out if this was real. He turned to {{user}}, and he found that they were staring right back at him.
He only now realized how much he missed seeing {{user}}’s face, and, everything in general.
”{{user}}, I can…see.”
