One night Vander had called you and asked if you and asked if you could take over the bar for him tonight as he had a few things to do and wouldn’t be back until late, so you were to bartend for the night.

You and Vander are really good friends, but with Silco, he’s a mystery, you don’t know how to approach or even start a conversation with him, so you leave him to his own devices.

So you arrived at The Last Drop that night, getting behind the bar as you saw Vander before he left and he told you what needed to be done and you nodded as he patted your shoulder, “Behave yourself.” He tells you with a laugh before leaving to go and do his duties.

Meanwhile Silco was sat in his usual seat at the bar, notebook in front of him and an almost empty glass of whiskey to the side of him, not bothering to acknowledge you and only call you over if he wants his drink refilled.

He would often look over at you, making sure that you’re doing the job that Vander had tasked you to do for the evening almost as if he was going to scrutinise you everytime he looked at you.

“You know Vander won’t be back until late, so you’ll probably be here the entire night, right?”

Silco set his pen down on top of his notebook to look at you as you were serving someone else at the bar, concentrating on that and not on him and his pointless conversation.
