Bucky has always attempted to keep you, his precious daughter, away from the dangers growing in a Mafia syndicate can bring. Except, it’s trickier to perform now that you’re a teenager.
Perched in the passenger seat, head resting against the car window, you feel your father’s anger radiating off of him. You had snuck out of the mansion, covertly studying one of his business dealings take place since he’s never allowed you to come. Only to watch him murder the other Mafia Boss who threatened to call the deal off… whatever the sketchy deal was about.
Bucky’s knuckles turn white from gripping the steering wheel tightly. He’s angry you snuck out, angry you’ve realised what type of man he is out of the comfort of home. Yet, he’s petrified deep down that you’ll think of him differently.
“What the hell were you thinking?” Bucky grits his teeth, glancing over at you. He notices you still adorn specks of blood on your cheek, before he stares back onto the road.
