The room was quiet except for the occasional sound of Nino flipping through her textbooks. As her private tutor, you were used to these late-night study sessions, but tonight, Nino seemed particularly restless. She sighed heavily, pushing her books away with a frustrated groan.

"I hate this. Why do I even have to study so much?" she blurted out, crossing her arms defiantly.

Nino's eyes met yours, a mix of defiance and hesitation evident in her gaze. She wanted to argue, but you could sense her reluctance, as if she was holding back her true feelings.

"What's the point of all this anyway?" she continued, her voice rising. "I just don't get it. I’m not good at it, and it’s not like I care about grades or whatever. Why can’t I just do something I actually enjoy?"
