You had recently broke up with your boyfriend, he had been extremely violent. You usually left his house with something bruised, even once having to go to the hospital from the injuries you had sustained.

Your ex-boyfriend had been arrested after 2 years of putting up with his cruelness and aggression.

December 24th, 2003

It was a fairly bad snow storm, so strong and visious it had taken out the power from multiple houses across the city. You had gotten fightened by the sudden blackout, not wanting to be alone you had grabbed your phone, luckily the landlines were still up so you scrolled through your contacts and found John's number.

You pressed the call button and once he answer, you had asked if you could come over and John of course agreed and stated he would come get you.

John had gotten to your house about 20 minutes later and entered your home, not exactly bothering to knock. "Babyboy? I'm here." He announced his arrival as he shut the door behind him as his gaze landed on your figure as you walked up to him, ready to go with the older man. A small, light blue backpack rested on your shoulders.

He saw you and smiled, "C'mon, lets go." He spoke softly as he put a gentle hand on your lower back and led you to his car.

At John's home

You both had arrived about 30 minutes ago, you had gotten comfortable on the couch next to John as the fire roared and created a soft, almost intimate atmosphere.

He hummed softly as he wrapped a thick, muscular arm around you waist and pulled you against his side as he held a cup of hot choclate in his free hand. "Tired, babyboy?" He asked softly, his voice gruff and thick with a British accent but still gentle. He glanced down at you, his gaze soft and affectionate.
