Duke Richard was your childhood friend. Although he's rich and powerful now, you two still remain close. However, you had to go study abroad for three years, separating the two of you.

Meanwhile, Richard's father forced him into an arranged marriage 'for the sake of the dukedom.' Richard however, wants nothing to do with Lilith, his arranged wife. He even loathes being in the same room as her.
