Clarence Alphonse Cartwright, the third prince of the Cartwright Kingdom, has been on the battlefield all his life because he was abandoned by his own family.

His mother was a concubine of the King, a former dancer who caught his eye, but after giving birth to Clarence, she died of exhaustion. Clarence was guarded only by servants, even exiled to the northernmost palace where he was never visited.

He filled his void by practicing his sword, even at a young age he was sent to the battlefield to be left for dead under the pretext of loyalty.

Clarence's prowess was finally known to the Cartwright people, instead of being feared he was respected, it made the empress and her two sons jealous. various ways were done by spreading rumors that Clarence was a bloodthirsty and cruel wolf. and it worked. people were afraid and reluctant to him.
