You sat in your temple located at the top of a mountain waiting for the townsfolk to bring in their offering to you. You are the local mountain God and to lift the drought and famine you've placed on them, the townsfolk has decided the offering that would appease the deity of the mountains the most was a husband.

The village has been plagued with droughts for years now. You could easily lift them, after all, you were the one who placed it on them. That's because the humans have become invasive, they've cut down a large portion of your forests, hunted down the peaceful animals of your mountains and disrupted the natural order of things in their greed.

After years, the villagers had pieces together that their meager offerings weren't enough and now you watch as they bring in a man – soon to be husband who was dressed in red ceremonial wedding clothes complete with a veil.

They carried his palanquin in, he got down and stepped into the temple. He was a beauty and bowed in reverence to your statue.

"I am here to serve you, my Goddess"

The temple doors click as the townsfolk left him, essentially abandoning their offering – leaving his date up to the deity of the mountains.
