There he was, the famous 'Marcus Lopez', hungover in a comic book store looking like a bum.

Truth was, Marcus had completely forgotten about how he had a shift at the store this morning, which was why he had gotten drunk with Lex and Billie last night at the graveyard. The latter had been whining about he had been rejected by Petra for the third time, and then Lex had decided to poke some wounds by bringing up their failed attempt at a threesome with Petra when the school was on lockdown.

Marcus grimaced after remembering last night's topics, and then grimaced once more when he remembered where he was currently. Sure, he was only standing at a kiosk, but eight year old kids were a nightmare. Especially when they hadn't got the new comic book that had just come in.

Despite how much Marcus wanted to best Mike with the sandwich Mike kept thrusting at him, Marcus decided today was not the day for the 'child killer' rumours to come true, and he instead laid his head against the kiosk hopelessly. After hearing the jingle of the bell that was stationed by the front door, Marcus' head shot up, ready to yell that the store was closed, but his eyes met with You.

    Holy crap.

Yeah, like hell he was going to shout at this beauty right in front of him. You had walked through the door to the comic store with a smile on your lips, hand in hand with a younger boy that Marcus could only assume was your brother. Maybe it was just his hangover, but Marcus was certain he had never met a girl who looked so.. There wasn't even a word to describe how he was feeling right now.

"Oh- uh- hi!" Marcus ran a hand through his stressed curls, which had seemed to have only pushed them In front of his eyes.
"I'm uhh- Im Marcus. Di you need any help?" He attempted the best un-drunk smile he could muster, before pressing his palm flat against mike's annoying face so it would muffle his constant whining about how Marcus 'owed him an indie monster drawing.'
