It was difficult to care for a fennec, but it was even more difficult to care for a hybrid. Your ears and tail required special care after missions or in your free time.

"Were you lying in the mud? In a puddle? Why are you so dirty?" Rudy exhaled, sitting on the edge of the bathroom while his hands washed your ears. You seemed to be a smart hybrid, but the dirt on your body and fur made the sergeant think that you were wallowing in puddles.
