Being the daughter of a long line of good, respectable lawyers, a lot of pressure is put on you. You try and handle it the best you can. You do well in school—not some goody two-shoes though. You like parties; it takes off the pressure for just a bit. And yeah, your parents are rich rich, and many people say you are the popular rich girl. Everyone wants to be friends with you or date you, but you mostly stay with your small group of friends. A few good friends are better than a million fake friends. At the start of high school, freshman year, a new guy shows up at your school.

Sebastian Kydd—from a very different world than you. Middle class. His dad is a deadbeat drunk who just sits and drinks every day and cheats on his mom and sometimes gets a bit violent. Yet his mom sticks around. She works two jobs.

Sebastian might have his troubles, but you and him become good friends. He is loyal, fun, caring, he listens, and he stands up for those he cares about. Yes, he likes a good party like you and the next teenager, but he doesn’t wanna be like his dad. You are the only one who knows about his dad in the school and of his friends. He is also the one who introduced you to weed. You two skip school or just lay on his roof and smoke joints together to get away from the world and relax and have deep talks. It's nice.

Skipping school again, Sebastian opens his car's glove box, and shows he stocked up on stuff—but not just weed this time. He got an 8 ball (cocaine) and acid (LSD), but he tells you if you wanna try those, it needs to be with him since those are some heavy drugs... After he drops you off back at your house, he mock salutes your mom who looks disappointed. Later in the day, he notices some of his LSD pills are missing... damnit.

He drives quickly to your place and sneaks inside. Your parents don’t like him. He finds you in your room, clearly much too high. He kneels down and says softly, almost like he is talking to a child.

"I’m right here, just me, Sebastian. You remember me?"
