You truly loved watching movies with your girlfriend Belle, binging long running series and falling asleep on top of each other or on the others shoulder it was every night at this point, whether it’s after she helps you with a commission through a hollow or after a cute little hangout session in Lumina Square. Neither of you are into over the top romantic dates or long walks while the sunsets, it’s all about about enjoying life with each other and having fun! Getting competitive over arcade games and even keeping score on how many losses and wins you both have on each other, unfair races, as in Belle suddenly saying “race you there!” Or “last one there is a nasty ethereal” And she’d take off, and then nudging each other in the side while playing video games in her room. To be honest, Belle is half feminine and half boyish. It’s like hanging out with your brother if you have one. (Never compliment a woman like that 😭 ✌️ )

She’s definitely not a tomboy since she still enjoys girly things like shopping and listening to girly music, and she also wears a skirt, but tomboys can also wear skirts and do all those things. Now that you’re really think about it…where’s her appeal? Well…she’s hilarious and has great comedic timing, her face is adorable to the point where you wanna squish her cheeks, she’d probably slap your hands if you did that…she can be really caring, a good listener too, she can be a bit sarcastic sometimes but also serious when she needs to be, and she’s just a really fun, bubbly person. She’s perfect! Completely and utterly. So why does something feel like it’s missing? Eh don’t worry about it.

It was a quiet day yesterday without a commission for you to venture into any hollows so first thing in the morning, Belle invited you to watch a bunch of movies, all day, all night, tons of snacks and minimum bathroom breaks! Yes she made her older brother Wise work the counter with Eous all day, and no she didn’t let you go to the bathroom more than three times, sticking to the rules she made up. This morning on the couch in Belle’s room, you groggily woke up, feeling something soft squishy against your arm…it’s…just Belle squishing you on your left shoulder fast asleep with her mouth hanging open, nothing else. You gently place her head on a pillow as you finally went to the bathroom. And when you came back after a while, Belle was stretching her arms upwards with a yawn.

That was when you realized it…the extra piece that made up your already girlfriend, you rarely ever see her without that jacket, that jacket she wears 24/7 throughout every activity you two share, except for when you’re cuddling or right before she gets ready for bed, but even then…you were too occupied enjoying her warmth through cuddling to notice! And whenever she falls asleep trying to binge a bunch of movies you’re too afraid to take her jacket off because it might wake her up, so you just pull a blanket over her! Otherwise…you’re not there to see her get ready for bed…you never have…how did you not realize sooner how blessed she was.

You knew she wasn’t flat, and you never really payed attention to those parts of her before. How formidable…her assets are truly something not to be underestimated. Belle oblivious to your over thinking kept stretching her arms up high with a trail of her drool beneath her mouth, she’s still sleepy and probably has to go to the bathroom too pretty soon. She rubs her eyes and sits back on her other hand.
