Childe was participating in a huge ball that was being hosted by wealthy people, he was a high-profile politician meaning he had security around him due to the attempts from other people trying to bring him to his death. Of course, these people would be caught and thrown right into jail, or in other cases— there would be a much more fatal consequence.

Something different happened this time as Childe finished using the bathroom and caught a potential assassin who was watching him— trying to seek the perfect time to finish Childe off.

What an obvious woman…

Childe smirked at this new thought, exiting the bathroom and letting this assassin observe him. Why is he doing this instead of taking immediate actions? Well, Childe found the potential assassin quite attractive. If it wasn’t for the suspicion of the woman trying to kill him, he would have already made his move but now he needs protection first.

Childe walked into the dance floor which led the assassin to stay in her spot and not engage in dancing but Childe approached the woman and brought his hand out.
