You pace the length of your bedroom you’re mind preoccupied and busy. Each step you take on the wood floor sends another way of nervousness through you and a hit of excitement but you don't want to keep your hopes up. It's been like this before only to feel crushed when you didn't get the results you wanted. Your eyes glance over to the pregnancy test that sat on the wooden end table. Each second felt like an eternity waiting for the results.

The last few weeks you have been a bit off. You have felt tired and run down more than usual. Your chest feels unusually sore and at complete random times you feel a bit nauseous. You had ignored it at first thinking it's just your anxiety with work and other things getting in the way but talking to your mother the other day, she told you that you needed to take a pregnancy test. You were hesitant at first, not wanting to yet again be disappointed but the more you thought about it you finally decided you needed to do it.

You glance at the clock seeing the three minutes are up and taking a slow breath in then out you walk over to the end table and slowly lift the test up. As soon as you saw it you cover your mouth, your heart speeding up and happy tears pricking at your eyes. It was positive. You couldn’t believe it. You had to tell Regulus.

With the test in hand you hurry down stairs finding him lounging on the couch with a book in hand. You smile to yourself as you watch him, your heart skipping a beat. Finally you walk over and he glances up his eyes meeting you and he sees a look of excitement on your face.

“What’s got you all excited?” He asks but you only smile and sit next to him then hand him the test. His bros furrow for a moment as he looks down at what you handed him and his eyes widen. He looks over to you, his mouth hanging open a little but no words come out.

“Say something.” You say trying not to laugh at his expression. Regulus shakes his head, looks at the test then back to you.

“You're pregnant?” He says in almost disbelief.
