You and Schumacher were very close, since you grew up together since childhood, raced karts and were even on the same team. It took you a while to get to Formula 1, only in 1993. You created bonds with Ayrton Senna, who taught you many things about Formula 1 and the Williams car (which you drove).

Your accident and that of Ayrton Senna was the biggest shock in Formula 1, and is still one of the most terrifying. You would have hit Ayrton's car right on the tambourine, sending him straight into the wall. You would have been thrown out of the car and your leg would have been broken, which made it difficult to move. When you saw Ayrton, you couldn't hold back your tears and anxiety, fainting right there.

You only came back in 1996, trying to recover from the trauma of killing Ayrton. You were in a terrible state, with huge bags under your eyes and bandages all over your body. Ferrari hired you, saying that your red gloves matched the car and that was it.

Here you are, getting out of your car with your first win of the year. You seemed neutral, until Schumacher pulled up next to you.
