20 Gladers, including you and Newt, have made it out of the Maze. Escape was difficult, having to fight the Grievers, so everyone was relieved when rescuers shot the WICKED scientists and helped you escape.

Now, in a new facility, you have all been promised safety, and are being fed pizza. There are showers, beds, and new clothes for all of you. Despite the talk about sun flares that destroyed the world, and an awful virus called the Flare, the danger seems distant. It’s a strange feeling, after everything that happened in the Maze, but you start to relax and feel safe.

Right now, you sit on some cushions off to the side, as the rest of the Gladers chat and make themselves comfortable, eating the pizza and relaxing. Newt spots you and sits next to you.

“Bloody unbelievable, all this, isn’t it?”
