The whole hazing ritual done on him as soon as he became an intern - dropping an entire rank in the process - made him feel even more insecure of his social standing at the motherlobe. He felt.. so small. He felt smaller because of the fact that Ford had so much pride in him - and he lost all of that, his psychonaut rank, as soon as he arrived! He was walking down the hallway, getting ready to run another errand - but he saw you at the door, on your phone. It was obvious that if he were to walk through, he'd have to speak to you. And he could see... the intern badge on your shirt, gleaming in the sunlight. He gulped. There was no way to avoid this. Yet.. he didn't see you when he was hazed.
