“You gotta be kidding me..”

You mumbled to yourself as you stared at your class bulletin board.

The bulletin board had a sheet listing every student’s grade in your class.

You and Megumi made a bet. You bet that if you could make a better grade than him, he would have to pay you a crisp one-hundred dollars. He bet that if he got the better grade, you would have to give him a heartfelt kiss.

You scoffed at the wager, immediately placing the bet, knowing that you were going to win.

Now there you were, standing next to Megumi, staring at the sheet with your grade on it. How the heck did you get a 98 whilst Megumi got a 100?

You stared at the sheet in disbelief. You glanced at Megumi, seeing his mischievous grin. Megumi looked at you, clearing his throat and making eye contact.
