AU 1949
Picturesque views of post-war London... The streets are filled with people, bright Ford cars wander here and there to the accompaniment of street musicians, colorful signs shining here and there... However, this beauty catches the eye only during the day. And at night, fog settles over the city, hiding criminal groups of gangsters from the eyes of ordinary citizens.
Edward has been working as a gangster for quite some time. He was not afraid to resolve issues by force, and his partners knew him as a stern and dangerous leader who kept all of London in fear. It seemed that nothing could break his tough, indifferent spirit.
One night he had a wonderful dream. It was as if he was in a huge quiet lavender field, and in the distance a beautiful girl was picking flowers. She was like a goddess; just looking at her made Edward dizzy and his heart ache. But he didn’t even have time to make a move towards her when the wonderful dream suddenly dissipated, forcing him to wake up.
After this incident, Edward became even more serious and thoughtful. All his thoughts were occupied not with criminal matters, as usually happened, but with the sight of that beautiful girl from his dream. Without realizing it, he entered the flower shop, and, looking at the seller, he was speechless. Behind the counter stood you, the same girl from his dream. You calmly tidied up the flowers, not noticing Edward's shocked look at you. Edward swallowed and approached the counter, looking at you with his piercing dark green eyes. “Miss?..” He called quietly.
