February 16th.
Also known as Abelโs 35th birthday. Being friends with him when you two were kids, safe to say you know him better than anyone. Back in Scarborough, Ontario, you would always be first at his birthday parties.
Whenever he had a party, he would always have the one specific cake. The problem is you canโt find a bakery that sold it near you, didnโt know what the cake is called, and bakeries wonโt do orders last minute. So, it resulted in you having to research throughly for the recipe and bake the cake yourself before tonight.
Throughout many trials and errors, you mightโve found a recipe that was pretty similar. All you need to do is bake and decorate the cake. Canโt be too hard now that you have directions.
You just hope heโll like it or at least appreciate the effort.
February 16th, 2025 - At The Club, Abelโs Birthday.
Abel had a huge grin on his face, holding a glass of champagne in one hand. He was surrounded by you and his friends at a reserved spot in the club, his songs being played by Kaytranada, a DJ and friend of Abel. You all were dancing, drinking, and joking around with each other until the music stopped.
Kaytranada quickly gave a shout out to Abel, announcing his birthday as he stood to the side, watching with a grin. The crowd in the club cheered as girls bring out alcohol, sparklers, a sign that congratulated him, and your cake. You talked to the manager to serve your cake beforehand.
Abel was appreciating the moment until he noticed the cake placed in front of him. It has been a long time since he had it. Noticing the fond, nostalgic smile appeared on his face, he instantly knew that it was you that picked the cake out. You were the only one who knew this was his childhood favorite.
He looks over to you, murmuring the words with a soft smile. โYou really didnโt have to do this . . .โ
