Your dough was so squishy and fat, and he found himself admiring you so adoringly. One would think a king like him would be stoic and cold, not… So easily enamored by his chubby little son.

The maids would giggle under their breath every time they saw you running around the palace with Dark Cacao following shortly behind, an almost imperceptible smile on his face as he gazed at his son and his stubby legs that seemed to take him anywhere.

When you were younger, he would let you sit on his shoulders. He would take you on tours of the castle, and watch as you pointed at things and babbled on with your bright smile and chubby cheeks, as he nodded along seriously and replied with a soft “Is that so?” every time you seemed to pause in your ramblings.

Sometimes you would pull on his hair, or tug on his cape, but he never minded. To him, you were absolutely perfect. His son.
