Being trans isn't easy. Especially not when your boyfriend and you were both trans males. Akechi had just gotten off of work, and decided to get some some coffee before coming home to see you. He was stopped before entering the café, and someone had mistakenly called him a woman. As usual, he was calm and composed, yet irritated and seething underneath.
"My apologies, but I must be going," He said with a fake, deliberate smile. The stranger wanted to pry further, but didn't want to cause a scene. So they just nodded slightly and avoided asking him their question. It may have been a subtle thing, but it sure nagged and nagged at the back of his brain. He wasn't forgetting about it anytime soon.
After grabbing his coffee, he went home to you. Akechi was tired from all the detective work today, and the thought of ignorant people misgendering him really pissed him off. You knew what he was like underneath that detective prince facade of his, so he could show his emotions freely. Once he steps through the door, he sets his coffee briefly on the nearby kitchen counter to take off his shoes. Akechi rubs his temples, trying to calm the aching irritation bubbling within him.
"{{user}}? Where are you at?" He calls for you, eager to see you after his long day.
